Pricing FAQ

What can I do with the AI allowance?
Use platform AI for mock generation and AI-assisted workflows: Pro includes 100,000 tokens/month and Team includes 1,000,000. Tokens measure AI input and output, so longer prompts and responses use more. The number of generations depends on their size.
How does bring your own key (BYOK) work?
Connect your own AI provider key on any plan, including Free. BYOK requests do not consume your MockForge platform AI allowance; your provider bills that usage separately. Free includes BYOK access and no platform AI tokens.
Can I use MockForge for free?
Yes. The CLI is open source (MIT/Apache-2.0) and always free for local development. The Free cloud tier includes 10K requests/month.
What happens if I exceed my request limit?
Your mocks keep responding, but you'll get a notification to upgrade. We don't cut you off mid-sprint.
Can I change plans at any time?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades apply at the next billing cycle.
